The 60s wouldn't have quite been the 60s without Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs. The fact there was such a band underscores everything that is free and wonderful about the United States. Besides that, they were a rock solid band in my opinion.

The first to put wild and crazy fun in Rocknroll. Read an article from commitee member they were going around singing Wooly Bully. How can they do that and not be considered? Great songs!

Yes Sam the Sham & The Pharohs have made there contribution, to musical history. They are Legends, they are Pioneers in Music History. They deserve to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, as much as any one Inductee. Yes they opened doors & they knocked down barriers, for others. Yes they belong in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
