5 comments so far (post your own)Have read most of the comments and totally agree with them, I first discoverd them in 1971, have got all there albums, managed to see them twice,1 Glasgow uni 1971 and 2 Aberdeen Lemon Tree 2006 both fantastic concerts, they defo should be inducted as they influenced so many metal bands after them, also has anyone noticed that their songs do not include swearing, drugs, sex, ect, an acheivment in its self for a metal band, hopefully oneday they will get the recognition they deserve. I'm originally from the USA and I was listening to Budgie 30 years ago. I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Napoleon Bona Parts 1 and 2. Those are some of my favorite tracks. Budgie has to be one of the most underrated band ever. Posted by Don Spam on Tuesday, 06/3/2014 @ 18:30pm |
Are you people asleep, or what?! This band meets ALL the requirements for memorialization! Longevity, influence, following, originality, and just plain old ass kickin' pulse poundin' rock n roll drive!! Posted by bigfat daddy on Monday, 08/15/2016 @ 22:42pm |
Budgie is awesome, they deserve to be in the Rock Hall. However, Dio, Thin Lizzy, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, and Rainbow are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. 2pac Shakur is being inducted in 2017; that should tell you all you need to know about the Rock Hall :-( Posted by Bob on Sunday, 04/9/2017 @ 16:14pm |
