Now I have a lot to say about our lovely Dead Boys. They were panned by music critics as Stooges rip offs but I think they are in a league all of their own. Their songs (while being heavily influenced by The Stooges) are more representative of the angst side of Punk in the late 70s. Mr Hilly Kristal saw potential in them and I think they could have become as important as Talking Heads, or Ramones. Nonetheless they are not to be forgotten. Will they get in...probably not...should they definitely Posted by jdog on Monday, 12/21/2015 @ 22:03pm |
