Liam...most of the time you sound like a prick (though I must admit, your top ten lists are excellent).
This time though...I wholeheartedly agree with you. This has got to be the worst list I've seen out of the bunch...with the POSSIBLE exception of the Raconteurs and the definite exception of the two solo artists who only really deserve to get in with their bands (Eddie Vedder and Thom Yorke).

You guys weren't kidding... That's a bad list if ever I saw one

Again, another list with a few good bands (Tokyo Police Club, Klaxons, Cold War Kids) who have a snowball's chance in hell getting into the Hall.

The Raconteurs. I can't see anybody else getting in

Jonas Brothers? Are you f-ing kidding me?

This list is about 3 times worse than the 2030 one,if that is even imaginable.

Don't think there was enough good material overall, but I'd like to see them get in someday

Demetrius-
Who are you talking about?

Way to early predictions:
Fleet Foxes
Gnarls Barkley
Lupe Fiasco
The Raconteurs

Daughtry, Gnarls Barkly, The Racontuers, and Tokyo Police Club would get my vote.

As much as this wants me to pluck my eyeballs out and cook them in my toaster so I can burn all the crap off that I recieved from looking at this list, I'm going to take a stab at the top 5 from this year:
The Raconteurs - the most obvious one; Jack White is the King Midas of music - he makes it gold. (excuse my overexaggeration)
Lily Allen - I personally don't like her, but she's had quite a bit of success so far, and she does experiment a touch with her music (more than most, definitely).
Saving Abel - This might kill my list, but it's just because they're a post-grunge band with potential to be something MUCH better. They have a large southern rock element to their music, and have had a little bit of success. While they need to keep strong and try much harder with their music to keep them from being just another post-grunge band, they might be the ones to escape the filth.
Gnarls Barkley - The duo are probably just going to be a one-hit wonder, but you never know...
And I give up on a fifth one. I'll just say Red Jumpsuit Apparatus because they tried with their Lonely Road album to be different, but that's a joke. No other band deserves it (so far).

Thom Yorke, Daughtry, Fergie will.
And Taylor Swift at this moment in time, Yes she will. But things can change.
Asher Roth and Saving Abel could but it's TO EARLY TO TELL.

The ebst artist on there to me is Lupe Fiasco and he's a godamn rapper!
Posted by GFW on Monday, 08.23.10 @ 11:25am
Oh, and Gnarls Barkley.
Posted by GFW on Monday, 08.23.10 @ 11:26am
If Gnarls Barkley made some more albums like St elsewhere they have a chance.
If Jarvis Cocker gets in, it will be with Pulp.
Leona Lewis has no chance.
Lily Allen is a good pop artist but I don't see it happening.
Lupe Fiasco is a talented rapper and certainly the best of the list here.

Thom Yorke obviously and Fleet Foxes

Thom Yorke solo? I think not! Fleet Foxes? Now that's a long shot if ever there was one.
My take on this class:
Promising but shows every sign of being a one-hit wonder:
Gnarls Barkley
The only thing close to a lock (though still far from it)
The Raconteurs
NO to the rest (as of this point)

Best chances:
Gnarles Barkley
Lupe Fiasco
Flying Lotus
St. Vincent
The Raconteurs
(Doesn't seem like the worst list)
Yes it doesn't have Big, Big Names. But good respectable artists.

Not much here right now. Have to say 'Gnarls Barkley', 'Band of Horses' and Daughtry. Haven't heard of 'Fleet Foxes'. This will be a catch-up year for the Hall.
