No. Because their chief contributions are not to rock n roll but death metal - an art form outside of rock music. Chaos AD doesnt count; may as well induct one of the hardcore punk bands they ripped off on that album.

They popularized tribal music in metal in a big way... And tribal music is world music... so why not?!

I'm leaning yes, if only for putting Brazil on the metal map (and possibly giving metal bands outside of Europe and the US a chance to shine), and the aforementioned merging of metal and world music.
