Crossed another off my musical bucket list as I finally saw these guys. They played 2nd to last (and Railroad Earth wishes they had played last) at this year's ROMP Bluegrass Festival in Owensboro, KY. Overcast weather cleared up & OCMS took the stage around 9 PM. I had a great spot, 2nd row, dead center. 7 people in the band, most of whom are multi-instrumentalists. One of them plays drums, keyboards, harmonica, mandolin & fiddle (and can dance his ass off as well). They have a main lead singer (who is awesome), but at least 5 different people sang lead on various songs. Largest crowd ever for ROMP. Left Wagon Wheel till about 3 songs from end, huge roar when they started it. Finished up with a cover of 'American Girl'.

You will get your whole money's worth, if you are lucky enough to see OCMS.

Saw these guys last night at Bunbury Music Fest. The boys were in fine form. Katch & Critter lead the band thru a spirited set. Very laarge & happy crowd.

I'm telling you now, if you think you wouldn't like seeing this band live, you are wrong my friend.

Glad you liked them, Paul! I'm not a fan of 'Hey Mama Rock Me', as I've heard that song one too many times! lol I hope you read this before you go to Bonnaroo: Have a great time, I'll be thinking about everyone, drink one for me (at the Broo Tent), and if you can, check out local hero Pokey LaFarge! Best wishes

Hi, Jason! Almost there. Will hoist one to you. I will definitely be seeing Pokey Lafarge. Saw him last year at ROMP & was very, very impressed. He's a great showman.

Will see you at LouFest.
