John Cafferty has been underrated as a song writer for years. The Beaver Brown Band has survived for 35 years. How many bands can claim that? It's the music and quality of the musicians that have made this group a favorite. John has always been compared to Springsteen. Bruce was an influence and assisted John in is early years. Why is Bob Segar and John Mellencamp not compared with Springsteen? It's because of the similar voice tones and that is the only reason. Listen to Dark Side, Tender Years, City, Voice of America Sons and tell me that those are not well written songs!

John Cafferty is Underrated. 35 years of playing GREAT ROCK N ROLL. Over 5 million albums sold. Everyone always says "He sounds like Bruce Springsteen" Hey! what's wrong with that? I wish I could sound like Springsteen!. Aside from the comparisons, John Has Great original songs like Wheel of Fortune, Road I'm Running, Matter of Time, Etc. that are Anthems of us, the blue collar rock n roll fans. I have as many memories to Cafferty's songs as I do to other greats like Bruce, Guns-N-Roses, etc. John Cafferty belongs in the Rock N Roll hall of Fame.

John Cafferty and the BBB have never gotten the respect they deserve. When you toss in his song-writing ability as well as his solo work, John C. is worthy of at least serious consideration for the Hall. The Springsteen comparison is irrelevant. I enjoy the group's signature stuff, plus lesser-known songs like Open Road and Song and Dance.

John wrote great songs, had a great band with a strong work ethic, and was very underrated...Check out the song variety on "Roadhouse," for one example of great muscianship...The only compatison I see with Bruce Springsteen, and John Cafferty, is that both guys and their bands worked their asses off, which is noble in and of itself.

A cafferty siempre se le comparo con bruce, quiza por eso la gente que maneja este mundillo de la musica nunca le han dejado desarrollar como artista.
Es uno de los mejores del rock and roll.
Solo hace falta escuchar sus canciones para darse cuenta.
