Yeah, my name is James, but that's not influencing my opinion.
The band James, while not getting a lot of attention in the states, has a multitude of brilliant and powerful songs that compete with any of the "greatest" tunes ever written. The majority of their songs evolve from improv, and can be emotional juggernauts. They're still doing it today! Check out "Getting Away With It Live" and tell me it's not amazing. Listen to songs like "Ring The Bells" "Tomorrow" "Sound" "Moving On" "Nothing but Love". Highly underrated band.

Pretty solid band in my opinion. They have a wide catalogue of great songs and are a lot more than just "Laid."
