Rock and roll Hall of fame is a joke when it comes to rap. They should just stick to rock and roll.

What they miss is that the lyrics goes hand in hand with the music. The rappers of the 80s are not your typical musicians. They are lyricists first. In other words, they are song writers.

Some of these song writers changed the way rap music was made such as big daddy kane, rakim, slick Rick, the fugees, grandmaster caz, kool g rap, mc lyte.

I get it why you inducted public enemy. They are a group that stood for a social message. If that's the only reason why they were inducted then i now understand why rakim and big daddy kane did not.

If its about social issues over great sounding music and lyrics then it's time for the rock and roll Hall of fame to stick to rock and roll and leave rap music alone. What a farce.
