I totally get inducting Cash and Williams, you can't deny that they had a huge influence on Rock and Roll. I could see Dwight Yoakam, who has worked with some major modern rock stars. But Alan Jackson, Jackson is influenced by Rock to a degree, but he's really country, and I don't think he's had much of an influence on Rock.

One of the few respectable figures in modern Nashville, but irrelevant to our purposes here.

Even if all the conditions are right for a good time...

I can also see why Cash and Williams would be inducted because they influenced rock and roll but really Alan Jackson. I'm not saying I hate him, because I grew up listening to his music, but when did this become the Country Hall of Fame?
