Kip Winger on the Rock Hall Posted by The Dude on Monday, 01/21/2019 @ 14:35pm |
Winger is definitely one of the greatest bands of all time. Bought their first three albums on CD when they came out. Have always loved all of their amazing music and videos. Seventeen is one of the best songs of all time. So many great songs over the years including Headed for a heartbreak, Can't get enough, Miles away, Easy come easy go, Madelaine, Tears of blood, In my veins, Rainbow in the rose, Proud desperado, It all comes back around, and Down incognito to name a few. I've always loved Beavis and Butthead and I always thought the Winger shirt on Stewart was one thing that made him cool and was sad to hear that could have affected their career negatively along with Lars from Metallica throwing darts at a Kip Winger poster in their Nothing else matters video. Maybe Lars was jealous of their success at the time, but thankful at least when James Hetfield recently apologized. I don't understand why the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ignores Glam rock but I would love to see a great band like Winger get in. Love their new album Seven that came out this year in May 2023. Glam is the best music of all time in my opinion and was really sad when grunge took over. Thank you Winger for everything you do and God bless. Posted by Brian on Thursday, 08/17/2023 @ 17:05pm |
