Pop-Punk is a highly important genre in rock history and a lot of these bands deserve to be in the Hall of Fame someday. Some of these artists include: Posted by J on Wednesday, 08/12/2015 @ 23:26pm |
Mark my words, this upcoming album from Sum 41 is going to put them on the rock map the same way American Idiot did for Green Day. No one considered Green Day for the HOF before American Idiot, the same way no one considers Sum 41 for the HOF before 13 Voices. This upcoming album is that damn good, it's going to change the way this band is perceived. Posted by Adam on Wednesday, 08/31/2016 @ 12:20pm |
If green s**t day can do it after countless copyright infringement claims. Sum 41 deserves a shot. Great genuine punk band that have there own style and been listening to them since the 90s. Everyone knows blinks style or new found glory sound that time of music needs to be credited. music is getting worse by the day lets at least get the real musicians that part of stature of influence of my day. I think Sum 41 has a really low chance of entering because their previous records for more attention than their newer ones. A lot of songs from 'Does This Look Infected' and from 'All Killer Not Filler' became top songs for the band. Posted by Brim on Friday, 12/6/2019 @ 17:13pm |
Anyone who says punk bands from the early 2000s shouldn't be in inducted is just ignorant and stupid like they got their ideas from bands before them to do what they did and time keeps moving forward so eventually yes they definitely deserve it because they were pioneers for their era. Especially sum 41 blink 182 ext Posted by John on Sunday, 01/10/2021 @ 10:09am |
I like this band and feel that they are underrated but they'll never gonna get in the Hall. They're a flash-in-the-pan band. Posted by Henry on Monday, 07/12/2021 @ 00:33am |
I like them, but an induction will never happen for them. Posted by Kyle on Saturday, 08/28/2021 @ 05:24am |

One of my favourite pop punk bands. So many killer tunes. Saw them a couple of times at Riotfest. Always a great show. 27 years is a long time to do anything. Posted by Paul in KY on Tuesday, 05/9/2023 @ 05:28am |
Best band in the world. Unique sound, extremely talented musicians (even more when you compare them to other artist from the same "genre"). Posted by Phil on Friday, 10/27/2023 @ 05:07am |
