songs like cinderella, mexico, and I just say so long are truly killer clasic rock songs. This band has more right to belong in the RRHOF than bands like run dmc and others that are already in.

So deserving. The members that make up Firefall have all been a part of so many other great groups. No wonder their music was so good. Put them in.

It's ridiculous that Firefall is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! primarily because there is no band like them. Their melodies and arrangements are unique and creative, and yet powerful; they communicate power and emotion in such topics as relationships and living life in an authentic, loving, and honest way. They almost always leave some hopeful message for emotional survival, even in their heaviest songs and experiences, and are great story tellers. I saw them in a warehouse concert on the river in Portland, Oregon in 1979 or 1980, but I had already been familiar with their music, which is addicting and satisfying, I would put their songs up with any of the great groups---they are timeless, and are such an addition and gift to songwriting and its legacy, songs to be proud of for sure. For me, I rank them above the Eagles, there is just more emotion and intelligence, but that is not to take away any genius from the Eagles, it just demonstrates how rock solid the accomplishments of Firefall are, and how wise their songs are. There's nothing more to say, "I"ll just say so long."

Firefall had several hits and a wide and versatile range of songs, it's past time to induct them into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Quit goldbricking this incredible band, and good God you've thrown in bands in the HOF that didn't even qualify at your local towns and county fairs but to shun these guys is wrong, they had three sustaining HITS that still creep in the airwaves. This band hobsonized in the '70s & "80s, enough of hue and cry, so, do the right thing.
