That's Clarence Clemons you're thinking of. Carter had the hit "Slip Away," and probably other R&B hits that have been forgotten because the history of R&B radio hasn't been preserved nearly as meticulously. Posted by Philip on Monday, 11/8/2021 @ 22:44pm |
