Es un gusto que hallan creado un link para este gran artista. Un artista que pienso que estaba entre los 100 artistas rock principales ignorados. Es una gran alegría saber que Alexis Korner y John Mayall, dos grandes del rock británico y grandes influencias y más que hallan sido inductados juntos.

I was lucky to be the son of Malcolm Cecil, who was one of the revolving musicians that made up the Blues Corporation in the early 60's. My mother & I would visit Alexis and his lovely wife Bobbie in Queensway. They lived with their close friend Charles and always had lots of fluffy cats. I would play with Damien, the youngest of three (Sappho & Nikki) and I am more than super thrilled for his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Bout bloody time. Congratulations to John Mayall as well.

I was lucky enough to hang out with Damien's friend Jason Mayall in their house on top of Laurel Cyn and saw his AMAZING vinyl collection in the early 80's before the fire that took his house down.... What a terrible loss...
