Kanye and Arcade Fire are probably locks (and deservedly so)

Franz Ferdinand and The Killers started off strong (objectively speaking, i dislike Franz's debut) but neither had the staying power to get into the HOF.

Joanna Newsom would be great to see in, but she's probably too out-there for the HOF.

I didn't think Franz Ferdinand had been around as long as The Killers. Need to give these bands some time, GFW. They have another 15 years to make their case. The Killers (right now) are headlining major music festivals. I have seen them live & they are awesome.

Other bands from this year that I have seen live are:

City & Colour (really like them, no chance right now)

Grace Potter & the Nocturnals (Holy Shit, is Grace Potter wonderful! Sure want to see them again. A candidate, if she keeps rocking like she's been)

Manchester Orchestra (Fine pop band, like their shows. Not a candidate)

Trampled By Turtles (Have seen these guys twice. Great bluegrass band. Candidates for Bluegrass HOF)

Wolfmother (Saw them at Hangout. They will rock you into next week. Probably no chance, but one hell of a band)

I’ve recently sent FRL a message, requesting them to make a page for Bring Me the Horizon, since their first EP came out in 2004.

Those guys have a unique range of versatility.

Ack, Im going to hate this years inductions, if Kanye is allowed in the Hall it should be burned to the ground and never spoken of again. I don't think I've hated more of these top performers ever. The majority of popular music like the bands you highlighterd were completely heartless and almost insignificant to furthering Rock and Roll music. Shinedown will be the passed over never considered but should of been choice.

It's so sad to see such a lack of real rock bands on the list by this time.

Don't think there's a likely Hall of Famer in this batch but a nomination pat-on-the-back by the record industry for The Killers is possible along with a potential Gwen Stefani nomination that covers both her time in No Doubt and solo.

I am wondering when Tom Jones will be eligible. What do I need to do to nominated him? 60 yrs in the business speaks volumes, did I happen to have missed him by chance on any of the lists.

Any information would greatly be appreciated.
