The Skatalites are very influential to such bands as No Doubt and all those who plays ska-rock.

They influenced even the Beatles O blah di is a Ska influenced song. Look at the English 2 Tone Ska revival in the late 70's. Groups like Hepcal, The Slackers and The Allstonians played a more Jamaican brand of Ska in the early to mid 90's here in the USA. The Skatalites were some of the most underrated and underappreciated groups ever and should be in the Hall.
