Saw this act for 2nd time this year at Lollapalooza. They closed the Pepsi Stage down & played at same time Radiohead did. Still had a large crowd.

Where do I start?! Was 2nd row center for set. Lead singer came out in High Grand Satan Miter, the whole 9 yards. At Shakey Knees, he just wore his satanic morning suit. The members of band who play instruments all wear demon masks. No singing from them. I don't even see how they breathe in them. Lead singer wears white/black grease paint that looks like a skull. He does all the singing. They are hard rock and gloomily shred their instruments. No bass at this 2nd performance, although they had one at SK (maybe he got sent back to Hell).

Crowd was completely entranced. Same thing happened at SK, the security guys end up watching them instead of us!!!

All I can say is: Must See Live.

Great review, Paul! I remember you said you saw them at another festival. A year ago, I had never heard of them until they came to St. Louis last fall, and many people from work were going. That was where I lost my first opportunity. Ghost will be back and I have brushed up on my knowledge. I can definitely imagine them being badass. It doesn't surprise me that they took a lot of Radiohead's crowd.

Hey, Jason! Good to hear from you. Hope you get to see these guys soon. They will be at Voodoo Fest at end of October & I can assure you that Ghost doing a set at Halloween will be something to see.

BTW, not only Ghost was playing at same time. I think Lana Del ray played at 2nd stage (Bud Light). The 2 main stages were 1 1/4 miles apart.
