Does Adam Ant have anything to do with Adam and the Ants?

He is the "Adam" in "Adam and The Ants".

DarinRG, Adam and the Ants released two albums (one of which was the best selling album of 1980) after McLaren took the original Ants. Adam didn't go solo until 1982 after Adam and the Ants had released three albums.

Adam was stripped of his band by McLaren, but decided to form a new band. The new constellation went to number 1 several times, proving that Adam is a true artist, not giving up. He's my idol and his endeavours are a constantly reminder for me to never give up. I believe that still - and live by it every day.
He designed the image and all costumes for the Prince Charming era, and never took a compromise as the solution to any arguments from the record companies. He made who he are all by himself. Respect.
