Actually, Ballots were due back yesterday (the 15th), so the inductees will know by the end of the week if they made it before they get announced on American Idol by Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie next Sunday, April 21 on ABC.

Imagine if Ozzy, Janes Addiction, Sinead, DMB, Peter Frampton are announced on American Idol,
people on and off the American Idol will say

or "are they have influence on pop music".

Here's some reasons why I think Oasis could sneak in

1.The obvious reason of the unlikely but possible reunion of the band and just for the entertainment to see if Noel or Liam will show up

2.Wonderwall has been a meme in recent memory and has been one of the most streamed songs of the 1990s and one of the most streamed songs of all time

A recent article has come out that it is the most streamed song in the UK from the decades of 70s 80s and 90s and 2000s


3.Dave Grohl is a big fan and I am sure he is got at least some people on board their candidacy

4.Their debut album "Definitely Maybe" will be turning 30 in 2024 so maybe a Hall induction will be a nice celebration of the band

5.In recent memory a lot of British acts with not a lot of US success but a lot of influence like T Rex,Moody Blues,Roxy Music and Kate Bush have been voted in and T Rex and Roxy Music I can remember people being shocked to see them being voted in
