| This is pretty much my only predictions on next year's nominations so far. Nominees Beck - A singer songwriter still active & expect him back by next year. Mariah Carey - A second nomination would be different for the singer. Coldplay - A possible FYN inductee plus a headliner for the 40th anniversary. Daft Punk - Electronic music pick would end up being Kraftwerk as side category honorees. Melissa Etheridge - Next year's Sheryl Crow. Iron Maiden - A third time's a charm for them & more metal to be represented. Joy Division/New Order - Lack of post punk/new wave this year would be the speculation for their comeback. Thin Lizzy - A dual classic/hard rock rock pick for the old audience. War - Following the Spinners & Kool & The Gang as the next classic R&B act to get fully recognized. |
