Saw these fellows at Hangout Music Fest. They headlined Saturday nite. Was very impressed by musicianship of band. Didn't play all their country songs (thank God), but did some killer covers also. It's not often that you hear a band cover 'Enter Sandman', 'Three Little Birds' (with Xavier Rudd), and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' all in 1 set!

Really enjoyed their set. HOF ready? Not at this point, but an excellent act to see live.

This is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, not Country.

The only time they made an impact on rock radio was when Chris Cornell featured on one of their songs.

I was very saddened to recently find out that John Driskell Hopkins, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist for the Zac Brown Band has been diagnosed with having amyotrophic lateral sclerosis aka Lou Gehrig's Disease. John is only 51 years old and this neurodegenerative disease is really quite insidious. My thoughts go out to John, John's family and friends at this time.

I hope that since there is now a treatment for Multiple Sclerosis, perhaps a treatment and perhaps a cure For A.L.S. will be available within the near future.

Well, what do you think?
