I do agree with -----...
Rock scene has always been "machista", misogyny everywhere...

Wendy O. Williams solo career is nowhere near as significant as her time and impact with The Plasmatics, yet the Plasmatics has no page in the Complete List of Artists. From 1980 to 1988, The Plasmatics released 5 albums, with the first 3(New Hope for the Wretched, Beyond the Valley of 1984, and Metal Priestess) being the most popular, during their meteoric, phenom phase. In comparison, Wendy had 3 solo albums, and a brief collaboration with Lemmy of Motorhead, releasing a crude single. Her notable solo album, "WOW", produced by Gene Simmons, and featured the members of Kiss on the record, and also 2 members of the Plasmatics. Gene was inspired to do the record after having The Plasmatics on tour with them, and opening for Kiss. Overall point being, The Plasmatics should be listed, and have a page for discussion, mostly due for a brief period from 1980-1982, they torched the music world with the punk, metal, pre-hardcore theatrics and shock rock, crazy TV appearences, and just causing havoc and chaos..wherever they went.

Wendy O. Williams and the Plasmatics deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. Joan Jett anf Lita Ford get some credit for their punk roots, as do the Go-Go's this year. Wendy O. brought out the best of punk... She was the female version of Sid Vicious. She challenged authority at every concert, forgoing clothes and chosing to go naked and get arrested in lieu of conformity. One of the true punk bands, and the first male band headed by a woman. Isn't that the definition of trendsetter?
