Love his music, especially his soundtracks for the animated Peanuts specials. It doesn't matter whether Vince Guaraldi ever gets inducted as a Performer in the HOF, as his place in history is permanently assured. Linus & Lucy could be the best (or at least one of the 5 of 10 best) popular songs to have never charted on the Billboard Hot 100. It's outlasted many #1 hits from the same timeframe and continues to delight audiences.

Up till this minute, I had no idea Vince Guaraldi had a page on this site. I'm guessing this page was just added this year. Whenever it was added it was long overdue.

This is a guy I'd vote for forever, if it came to inductions into the Hall. The Peanuts alone should get him in, considering how broad the requirements are for induction. He did have a minor success in the early 60's w/the song "Cast Your Faye to the Wind", so it's not just the Peanuts alone. I love his version of Henry Mancini's "Mr. Lucky".

I'd say yes to Guaraldi for the Hall.
