Will Train be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
"Musical excellence is the essential qualification for induction."

I honestly think that if today, Train were to end their career with three major hit albums, and about a dozen high-ranked singles... that they would not make it into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

It's a good thing they're still making music. The band has plenty of talent, a unique sound, and they have credibility. Now if only everyone knew who they were...

All in all, Train is a strong, well put together band that has the potential to really shine as they progress through their careers. I feel that as long as they continue to write from the heart, and Pat Monahan's voice doesn't become deep and normal, they could go places as history moves forward.

Wow, isn't that lovely. Somebody phishing with my name. Sorry about the picture. I was testing a function at the time.

Train probably won't make it. They're being a bit more consistent right now than they were before. Maybe they're trying to do the U2 thing, where they put a few hits on the charts at a time, disappear for awhile, then come back again. Right now, I can't see them getting into the Hall though.

How did you do that pic?

Train is my favorite band right now, so I will try not to sound biased when I state my opinion.

First, I agree with Warren. Right now the chances of Train making it in would be slim if they stopped making music (or became sell-outs, as I feel Maroon 5 are doing to themselves right now with Moves Like Jagger). Luckily for us, Train is still making music that lives up to their standards. Their newest single Drive By is a great song, not as good as previous songs such as Drops of Jupiter or Calling All Angels, but definitely a genuine Train song. Train announced that their newest album, California 37, will be released in April of this year. That means that Train's induction chances depend gravely on this album. If it does well, Train becomes even more famous and continue with their career. If it doesn't, they fall into another hiatus like what happened from 2006-2009. Save Me, San Francisco could be their best album, but their future can only be determined. I wholeheartedly hope they are inducted, but it is impossible to know.

Drops of Jupiter one of the best songs of the 2000's & the CD was a monster smash. With a lack of big-time groups in their time period,Train has a chance of induction in the 2026-2027 time frame.

Monahan has a really good voice. I like it's power & the rest of the musicians are great as well. The more I think about Train, the more positive things I can talk about.Train has been smart to stay with a solid formula. Continue to build a fan base including musicians in the industry. KING

Honestly, I think that They could make it into the Hall of Fame. 5 out of their six albums had at least one hit that made it into the top 20 on Billboard. Drops of Jupiter and Hey Soul Sister were smash hits. I still think that they need a number one hit to bring it all home. Otherwise, I think that they honestly could make it.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
