Rosemary Timothy Yuro (August 4, 1940 – March 30, 2004), professionally known as Timi Yuro, was an American singer and songwriter. Sometimes called "the little girl with the big voice," she is considered to be one of the first blue-eyed soul stylists of the rock era. According to one critic, "her deep, strident, almost masculine voice, staggered delivery and the occasional sob created a compelling musical presence." Yuro possessed a contralto vocal range.

Timi's voice was one-of-a-kind. I personally visited with her one evening at a local performance where she sat at my table and signed autographs for her fans. She adored all of them. She was extremely down to earth, reserved, and unpretentious. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her unique and wonderful voice alone should never be forgotten and adding her to the Hall of Fame would insure this never happens. Future music lovers would always be able to appreciate her wonderful contralto voice.
