Sales records in England eclipsed many of the records set by Beatles and Stones. Tough to be ignore because of their sheer brilliance compared to the Pistols and Clash

For a band who have continually flown the flag for British music, sold over 40million records to date, and continue to sell out tours both in the uk & worldwide and not to be in the music hall of fame is an absolute disgrace.
Bands that have achieved far less in the way of sales and indeed longevity has somehow been seen fit to grace this accolade!!!
It's now sad that Dave Greenfield has passed away without being in receipt of knowing that there place had been achieved.

The stranglers should have be put in the rock and roll of fame years ago they are brilliant musicians and legend's its just a shame Dave Greenfield isn't here anymore RIP Dave.

The stranglers after 40years are still doing sell out tours all over the world and making new music they should be in the rock and roll hall of fame. If its just down to the stranglers faces not fitting them shame on you rock and roll hall of fame.

Joan Jett is in, but a band that's been going strong for 46 years with a ton of # 1 hits and the biggest thing in Europe for decades arent even considered !?! This is a travesty!!

50 years of fantastic music. The proof of the pudding is in their live performances, sold out the Royal Albert Hall just last week.
