Similar case to the E Street Band. Three of the original members of the Revolution only appeared in concert, not on record. In the case of the E Street Band, the concert band members were inducted. Dez Dickerson, Andre Cymone and Gayle Chapman should be inducted with the rest of the Revolution.

It's time to tweet the Rock Hall and Questlove and whoever else. Induct the Revolution in 2017 (Sidemen/Musical Excellence Category)

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame would actually do this in 2017. They won't wait! This is Prince we're talking about.

Roy - Six of the 13 (now 14) posts in this thread are you listing the members of the Revolution. How necessary is that?

That was my last time ever!

Actually, Dez Dickerson left Prince's band in 1983, after the 1982 1999 album, before Prince's band was named the Revolution for 1984's Purple Rain album. So Dez Dickerson might not be inducted with the Revolution.
