Is there an other group called the Ojays? Why are people voting for the Ojays at the Rock Hall museum? They are already inducted!

Amazing! The Rock Hall Museum can't get their voting machine to detect artists who are already inductees, and block uninformed people from voting for them.

My guess is that the voting machine didn't catch the lack of apostrophe.

*** R.I.P. BILL ISLES of THE O'JAYS (1941-2019)***

William "Bill" Isles, one of the five FOUNDING MEMBERS of the Legendary Rock Hall-Inducted R&B group, THE O'JAYS, died this past March of cancer at his home in Oceanside, California. Bill was 78.

He was an original member of the group, and sang on several of their early 60's National hits...such as "LIPSTICK TRACES", STAND IN FOR LOVE",LONELY DRIFTER,and 'LET IT ALL OUT', which was later covered by Nina Simone. Despite his status as an ORIGINAL and FOUNDING MEMBER of the O'Jays, who sang with them for the first seven years of their existence, Isles was SNUBBED from Induction when The O'Jays were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005...for unknown reasons. Rumor has it that Original members EDDIE LEVERT and WALTER WILLIAMS didn't want Bill inducted because they never forgave him for quitting the group in 1965. Original O'Jays member BOBBY MASSEY (who quit just BEFORE the group's First Million-Seller,"BACK STABBERS" was released, but WAS inducted), protested this decision, but was out-voted by EDDIE and WALTER (founding member WILLIAM POWELL, who was ALSO inducted, is deceased0.

It appears that remains found in 1982 in Ohio have been identified as those of Frankie Little Jr., a member of the O'Jays for a short time in the 1960s. https://www.cnn.com/2021/12/14/us/ojays-frank-frankie-little-jr-remains-identified-cold-case-trnd/index.html
