Great music..their done time has been used in a lot of movies..the today show used it for their theme song .to her even used it when he was going into surgery..lol..now spike Lee..it's about time don't ya think..just asking

I think it is TIME for The Chambers Brothers to be inducted into the RRHOF. The Vietnam Veterans have taken TIME Has Come Today as their Anthem, an iconic classic overdue.

Besides being a biracial group in the 60s, very versatile with Time and gospel and rock and roll music! Should be in HoF !

Long overdue. The work they put in during the 60's during that time period was prolific. Yes they didn't have a ton of hits but just listen to the content and quality of their music and you be the judge.

THIS IS LONG OVERDUE!! It is about TIME we give The Chambers Brothers the credit and recognition that they deserve!!! Check out the Summer of Soul documentary...back then they were the highest paid musicians on the whole roster and with GREAT reason! Their ICONIC song, TIME HAS COME TODAY is still used in movies, commercials, and tv shows today and it is about to be 2022!! Denzel Washington is a huge fan! Prince was even a fan, Chambers Brothers was one of the last cd's he bought before passing (#FACTS)!! This really is long overdue!! Unlike LL Cool J and Jay-Z, The Chambers Brothers are actually Rock & Roll!!! (Honestly no shade on either one, but come on, LL Cool J in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame... REALLY) Induct people and music that actually fit the script!! The Chambers Brothers HIGHLY deserve to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame AND it really is LONG overdue!! GIVE THEM THE CREDIT AND RECOGNITION THAT THEY DESERVE!!!

I think there should be a year in which the Chambers Brothers, Love, MC5, Mountain, Death, War, Bad Brains, Fishbone, Living Colour, BodyCount, King's X and TV on the Radio should all be inducted. I think the term prolific should also include the scope of influence because these bands had. I think being an "Important" band should out weigh sales when it comes to judging. Death is the special one. They only released one single around 1972 or so. They only had the one album that got shelved, one of the brothers, the resident genius, gets pretty messed up, dies, the other two start doing reggae, things more or less fall apart, one of the sons discovers them, not knowing who they are, their vinyls get discovered, start selling for insane numbers, I have a reissue, the son's college band starts covering them and they get rediscovered and reconvene. They ARE rock-n-roll. That album is one of the all time great socially conscious political black rights protest albums. Don't get These guys confused with the Death Metal band of the same name who also deserve to be in there with dozens of other metal bands, not hair metal, the hall seems to ignore. There is a dozen or so shoegaze bands that should be in the hall. And how come there isn't a lot more reggae artist in the hall. Some of them are deeply prolific abroad and should be in there.

If the Chambers Brothers need a champion for R & R Hall of Fame induction, it should be none other than Quest Love. His compilation ford Summer of Soul begins and ends with the Chambers Brothers performance. He knows their wide ranging influence as do many others with a granular knowledge of the roots of psychedelic soul and and power of Time, Love Peace and Happiness and many more. If they are not quite on the Soul Mount Rushmore, then they belong in the Hall of Presidents. The Hall is diminished every day the Brothers are not considered. Someone please pout a bug in Quest's ear and get this rolling before I get too old to care. Yes, I saw them in person and was transformed.

This song was the anthem for youth in the sixties and the Vietnam war. "Time has come today" for the Chambers Brothers band to be inducted to the rock and roll hall of fame ! They have been overlooked for decades. This song, among many of their other songs, are more relevant now in 2023. It's a great anthem for the current US veterans, many homeless, and for the government to get their act together and start treating them right !
