Top band that morphed and made every album different. They started early and finished strong. Daniel John's is an unreal guitarist and vocalist. Chris Robinson, Eddie Vedder and Daniel Johns are the top 3 vocalist's in the last 30 years. Unless you want to throw George Michael in there which is fine. Silverchair deserves it. Awesome band.

Saying silverchairs lyrics are sh*t is possibly the most stupidest thing i"ve read on this site. The lyrics arnt written by pearl jam,nirvana ect in there peak and whilst as adults, silverchair where 15 years old and still at school at the time of frogstomp, I guarantee you'll never see another band as young as they where to sell 2 million copy's at the age of 15 and continue to produce great albums right up to there hiatus ( 5 albums all reaching #1 spot in the ARIAS). But hey, thats just my personal opinion and as 'stupid' as the lyrics sound, as long as im able to jam out to it and headbang, ill be happy for any band to be inducted to the hall of fame. ( except future nominations of people like jay Z, iggy azalea, 5 seconds of summer and one direction ...f*ck that shit)

If Madonna could make it into the Rock hall before she had 20 years of Rock n Roll than my old karaoke tapes should be inducted. She's an idiot that gave every sexual favor to every corrupt individual that's responsible for the inductees..
Silverchair will prolly never be given the opportunity because the goons that decide aren't normal people. They're out of touch and they don't let the ppl that buy, listen to,, or pay bug bucks for concert seats to
pick or decide.
Rock Hall GOONS have pi$$ed off many bands and some have refused to appear for their induction. And that's a fact.

Your comment is incredibly sexist and is completely irrelevant. What does Madonna have to do with Silverchair? Boohoo a band you like isn't inducted...that has nothing to do with other acts that are in. Madonna deserves her spot in the hall more than 95% of all inductees and to discredit her achievements in music is just ridiculous. Some bands just aren't as important to music as a whole than some of you rock purists like to think. It's pointless to try to bring down other artists (mainly women artists btw) as a comparison of some random rock band that you think is a "snub" or whatever. If you hate the rock hall and its process of inducting artists so much then why waste so much energy bitching about it online and just ignore it? Also Madonna did wait 25 years to get inducted just like everyone else so I don't know why you're trying to say otherwise.
