One of my favourite bands, they're absolutely great!!

The Ramones and not the dolls? Blonde and not the dolls? What gives?

The Ramones over the NYDolls makes sense to me but Blondie over the Dolls is just plain foolish. The Dolls & The Stooges belong.

I love both the Ramones and the NYDolls and cannot imagine how Blonde was chosen over them.

The Ramones are already in. There's lots of influential punk bands who aren't (and probably never will be) inducted. Gonna have to ask the nominating committee about that!!

And the Dolls will hopefully be in one year soon.

I'm ashamed of our culture if there is only 6 people who care enough to post a comment

This band was a joke and should never have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Absolutely no hits to their credit. What qualified them?

Rock & Roll Jeopardy
Subject: If They Collaborated

If Sweet & the Ramones did a record together, it would be called:

What is "Ballroom Blitzkrieg Pop"

What a load of bollocks. First of all, if you check that wiki thing you posted, you'll see that one of their songs got to #8, and another to #22. So much for no hits. Second, a "joke"? What bands do you like, you twat? Third, what qualified them was practically starting the pop-punk thing (along with Blondie and the Buzzcocks), giving Rock a shot in the arm in '76 when things were getting overblown, and influencing tons of punk and non-punk bands that followed them. Who do YOU think should be in the Hall?

What's the name of that music critic and writer who looks like the members of the Ramones? He's got black hair to his shoulders and wears glasses. I think he works for Rolling Stone.

You're thinking of David Fricke.
