Just got tickets to Bad Co and Skynard for July show. Has there ever been a vocalist that sang with more feel than Rodgers? This guy has been a legend for 40yrs. That he isn't in the Hall is beyond belief.

I totally agree with the above comments that it is a crime that Paul Rodgers is not yet in the Hall Of Fame. What a disgrace !!!! So many groups inducted that aren't even in the same league with him.
I just saw him perform with Bad Co. last week.
His voice is still amazing. I have been a fan since the early days, and he is one of the few, of that era, to still sound incredible !!!
PLEASE induct him in 2015 !!!!!!!!

Just love Paul Rodgers. A singing legend and he's in my list of FAVS with Counting Crows, White Lion, Duran Duran, U2, Dokken, Bryan Adams, Natalie Merchant, Scorpions etc. He's one of those singers you have to listen to if you are an afficianado of music. Rodgers elevates any song to great. Like listening to him on Radioactive, Bad Company, All Right Now. Has a bluesy sounding quality to voice. One of the biggest RRHOF snubs. He should be elected before 2020 or there is some explaining to do. KING

My best bet would be that BAD COMPANY would have a good shot at some point. also FREE was another PR band that rocked and rolled, prior to BC. Either way, Paul Rodgers has a great voice that has influenced many a rock star's vocal stylings. He will get in, one way or other, but not likely as a solo artist.

Good chance that Bad Company may receive a nomination in the future..but I think the Halls radar will be focused on Rundgren, Zevon, Nilsson first.

Paul could sing the phonebook every day with more soul and skill than most singers can sing their own catalog for a full concert.
Put him in the hall already.

Maybe the R and R Hall of Fame adjudicators don't have ears...when Robert Plant, Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart acknowledge Rodgers as the best you have to wonder what the problem is. If The Animals are in there and the Faces/ Small Faces are in there it's nothing short of a disgrace that Free or Bad Company aren't. Free broke box office records all over the UK in 1970/71 and Bad Company did the same in America later on in the decade. What is wrong with these people....Phillistines!

It's a total disgrace that he has been snubbed in this way. The Hall is more interested in appearing 'woke' than doing their damn job.

I don't understand why Paul Rodgers or any of his bands are not in the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame. Starting with Free Bad Company to the Firm to the Law. Paul has a incredible list of musicians that he has played with. Think about it from all of the hits From these bands and all of the AirPlay that they get I find it astonishingly and poor taste that he and his bands are not in the Hall of Fame. He's also relevant today unlike most of the other artists that are in the Hall of Fame ahead of him. It is a total disgrace that the committee or whoever does not put him and his bands in the Hall of Fame

Best ever, Free/Bad Co. Are pioneers and influenced every rock band since. For years I listened to the Hall's radio promo using bits and pieces of famous songs in the background and one of the cuts they used was from "All Right Now". How you gonna use one of his songs to promote the Hall, and not put him in?? What a joke!! For years I was mad that Steve Marriott was not in, but now it's Paul's turn!! Come on man!! Validate the Hall !!

I am dumbfounded when i look at some of the previous inductees into the rock and roll hall of fame and still no Paul Rodgers ??. One of the great rock n roll voices without doubt

Donna Freaking Summer is in the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. The freaking QUEEN OF DISCO. Yet Paul Rodgers, Free and Bad Company are not. I will never visit that place until this monumental disgrace is corrected.

Mark Richardson,

Listen to the guitar solo on "Hot Stuff" if you doubt the Rock and Roll-ness of Donna Summer.

I am shocked to learn Paul Rogers is not in the R&R Hall of Fame. One of the best if not the best to have written and sung Rock and Roll. Induct him now!

Paul is the best, soulful vocalist of our generation. Rod Stewart said Paul was the best. Too bad he turned down Deep Purple! How do we get him on the ballot??

Paul Rodgers voice is the very essence of rock and roll: melodic but never stoops to maudlin, coarse but in key and never harsh, and he has used his instrument to complete more than one band. A real "shooting star" who shouldn't have to die to be inducted!

Anyone who knows anything about rock 'n' roll agrees that the rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame is a flat out joke, an embarrassment and an insult to true rock fans everywhere. They only care about trying to get people in there and make money, that's why they inducted people like Dolly Parton, who never recorded a rock record in her life and people like Paul Rogers, an icon for many years, is not in the hall. I can mention dozens of artists who deserve it, and equally as many who don't deserve it that are in there, but why bother everybody talks about this every year when inductions come out. I personally would like to see the place just go away.

The first time I heard Free, I knew the Voice was someone cool. My favorite group was Bad Company.
I grew up with the Beatles. This travesty must be corrected.

Posted by Joel Porras on Tuesday, 05/2/2023 @ 13:15pm

Free had so many great songs that live on with Paul Rogers great voice, then with Bad Company they did it all again with top albums every time finessed with that great man's voice. We were convinced that he would be in the Hall of fame but when we checked the result dumbfounded us all. Someone must have a grudge as this truly does NOT make sense. Bring him in!

I personally think that's it's impossible for Paul Rodgers to sing a bum note. Been watching him live since 1969. Free, Bad Co, The Firm, and solo. The guy covered Otis Redding's , I've Been Loving You, and done a great version, who else would have the bottle to do that. Enough Said

Paul Rogers NOT in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame? Unbelievable! What is wrong with the selection committee? Are you telling me that Dolly, Willie, Janice and other non RRers are better than Paul Rogers singing Rock n Roll? Rogers is one of the most talented RR singers today and maybe of all time. It maybe true that critics say that Rogers sing bar music, but isn't that what RRers want to hear? Think about it, Bad Company, Free, The Firm, Queen, and solo. They are not just bar bands. We hear them on the radio everyday! Because they are what Rock n Roll is all about! Paul Rogers deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

I have been listening to rock and roll since the 50's. I have heard them all, and Paul Rodgers is maybe the best rock and roll singer I have ever heard. The rrhof is a joke, he should have been in years ago.

I too am amazed that Paul Rodgers is not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. So many other inductees that aren't nearly as talented as Rodgers.

Not sure how you can call it the roll and roll hall of fame when Paul Rodgers plus Free, Bad Company are not included. How can one of the, if not the, finest rock/blues vocalists be omitted, its like leaving Pele out of a all time football great club. Absolutely ridiculous when so many alleged superstars carry on into their seventies and clearly shout rather than sing PR continues to hit the note everytime. His new album tracks released evidence that. Like a good head of hair look at the roots, PR has influenced so many. Get him IN !!!
