Just because the US has turned a blind eye to this band (has R&R been any worse than during this millennium?) and others like it doesn't mean the rest of the world is wrong. Much like Depeche Mode brought us a new vibe of music in the 80s, Nightwish has done the same and much, much more throughout all of Europe and South America. Thanks to YouTube, the US is catching on too. Watch the passion of the fans at any Nightwish concert and you'll need to know nothing else except they belong!

Nighwish belong in hall of fame, because they have made so many great songs as no other band i know, and they got their own sound, you are not in doubt when you hear a nightwish song, that its nightwish, all members in the band are incredibly talented, and yes Toumas is a music composer, that really can make the right sound go with a song, to make it get the mood set for the meaning of the song, Nightwish is also one of the best bands i know, to make transitions in a song in the most epic way, this band just is amazing, got a huge catalog of songs with a lot of great song in it, makes metal and poetry meet at its very best form, simply masters at what they do..

All of Nightwish songs are works of Art. Tuomas is a poet for the generations. Anyone who has seen any of their concerts know that there are no divas, no egos, just a group of extremely talented musicians who clearly love each other as a family. Floor's Vocals and stage presents are nothing like anything I have ever seen. She tells a story with her vocal range, body language and does not overpower the band, which she is more than capable of. Each play as an integral part of the overall musical and visual experience called "Nightwish". They belong in the Music Hall of fame without a doubt!!!!

For the person who said cheap Evanessence knock-offs. Did you not notice that Nightwish are eligible for nomination a full year earlier? Hard to imitate something that comes after you!

Nightwish through all three vocalists has consistently delivered top notch symphonic metal. Tuomas is not nicknamed the metal Mozart for no reason. His musical vision is unsurpassed, and they deserve their place amongst the legends unquestionably.
