Sister Christian was a Classic Song. Don't see how Night Ranger would break through the current RRHOF logjam of bands waiting...Chicago,Deep Purple,The Cure, Duran Duran, Judas Priest, Moody Blues just to name a few. They played good hard rock I don't know anything they did was innovative. Will say NO to RRHOF induction. KING

Sister Christian is a horrifying piece of pap. Don't Tell Me You Love Me and You Can Still Rock In America are so much better. But also a big no to them for the Hall.

Loverboy ahead of Night Ranger for consideration? That someone could actually type that is sad.

That anyone could seriously consider Night Ranger for induction is also sad.

Night Ranger is absolutely the epitome of 80's rock greatness. A blend of amazing guitars,keyboard,front-line vocals as the well as one of the most talented singing drummers in rock history. Tremendous high energy live shows with the crowd singing every under-rated hit. They without a doubt should one day go into the RRHOF.

Uh, no chance in hell, dude... #layofftheweed

This is a band that has consistently performed for over 35 years. They also write their own material, unlike many of the inductees who just sing someone else's words. This fact should be considered when recommending inductees.

Not gonna happen.

Jack Blades is deserving, but I don't know about Night Ranger. Blades was a frontman and songwriter for two successful bands, as well as a songwriter and producer for many other artists/bands. Of course, while other artists of the era know and respect him, most of the public would respond with Jack who?

Night Ranger should be in the HOF. That's a no brainer. They were overlooked and had several songs that could have got more air time. Each album had at least three top 20 hits and should have been more. This band is unique with two lead singers and two lead guitars . My opinion they are very worthy of HOF . And are still rocking and putting out new albums .

Granted, when you look at the list of bands not in the HOF, you are left scratching your head.
Especially when you look at some of the bands and artists who are in.
Certainly Night Ranger is one of the most under rated heavy metal bands of the 80's.
But when you consider that Reo Speedwagon, Styx, Kansas, or bands like Steppenwolf are not in,
you left wondering who votes for these bands and what their criteria is? Certainly not album sales or popularity.

Night Ranger will never get inducted. They have Rock Hall quality material but many of the critics who get these bands recognized are a bunch of flakes . Night Ranger is an amazing band and all of their albums always get reviewed with high marks, but they also lump this band in with all of the other 80's bands. It's truly sad that they never get the credit they deserve. Go to a Night Ranger concert. I guarantee you will find newfound respect for this great band.

They had a ton of great songs - but some of they're best songs never really got much air time after the 80's & they are known for Sister Christian which is actually working against them. I understand the criteria to be voted in, but MY criteria is who's greatest hits album would I rather listen too if I'm stranded on an desert island. I would pick this group over many, many others who are already in as well as waiting. Too bad "a bunch of great songs" is not a heavily weighted factor to get in the Rock HOF.

These guys are amazing musicians and have over 10 studio albums spanning 30 years. How many others can say that? They should be in before bands live lover boy or duran duran, DD barely in rock category. So many great songs, when u close your eyes, rock in america, dont tell me u love me, goodbye the list goes on

Saw them again this past weekend and wondered why all their work and success has not been enough to get them in. Something aint right

I have followed Night Ranger since their glory days in the mid-80s. They were my first concert experience in 1987. I believe they are as qualified as any 1980s MTV rock band to enter the Hall of Fame. The important thing to remember is that they were (and still are) entertainers. They meet all the requirements to enter the Hall with 41 years of recording history and almost no breaks (apart for a brief hiatus in the early '90s). They are still packing mid-size arenas and clubs in America.

The main thing that blocks Ranger is stigma for being a Top 40 guitar-driven band that played power ballads. But it was the only way to get radio airplay back then. So they weren't as instrumentally adept as Rush or lacked the polish of Van Halen. But they were still head and shoulders above many of their peers, especially in terms of guitar prowess and vocal talents. Kelly Keagy's ability to sing and drum is quite impressive and Jack Blades is one of the most genuine rockers in the biz.

I say let them into the Hall with all due speed.
