8 comments so far (post your own)Paul Simon name-checks Lou Adler in his song "A Simple Desultory Philippic" from the S&G album "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" ("I've been Lou Adlered/Barry Sadlered") Also Carole King spent nine years at Lou Adler's Ode label, beginning with The City's lone album "Now That Everything's Been Said" in 1968 and ending with her eighth solo studio album "Thoroughbred" in 1976. "Tapestry" is perhaps Lou's most successful production credit.
