Paul Simon name-checks Lou Adler in his song "A Simple Desultory Philippic" from the S&G album "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme" ("I've been Lou Adlered/Barry Sadlered") Also Carole King spent nine years at Lou Adler's Ode label, beginning with The City's lone album "Now That Everything's Been Said" in 1968 and ending with her eighth solo studio album "Thoroughbred" in 1976. "Tapestry" is perhaps Lou's most successful production credit.

Either Carole King or Michelle Phillips should give the induction speech for Lou Adler

Maybe Cheech and Chong will give the induction speech for Lou Adler. Why aren't Cheech and Chong here yet?
