Kasabian is a great band that sadly got little recognition over in the states. Songs like “Club Foot”, “Reason Is Treason”, “LSF”, and my favorite “Processed Beats”, seamlessly blend Britpop, House Music, Electronic, early 90’s Madchester, and pure rock into a sound that perfectly describes and sets the tone for the early 2000’s in the UK. Additionally, they have garnered a very prestigious fan base over the years, most notably Noel and Liam Gallagher of (hopefully) future inductee Oasis. For these reasons and many more, Kasabian most definitely deserves to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, if not at least recognized by the committee for overall just being a really solid band with some great tunes and a groundbreaking debut album.
