I'm surprised there's not a lot of comments on Joe Walsh's page, as well as any debate of him deserving to get in. As a solo artist, that is. I know he is already inducted as a member of the Eagles.

Kind of a borderline pick for me, as he has stood out as one of the greatest guitarists of the classic rock era. He's rubbed shoulders with several RRHOFers, especially at the most recent induction ceremony. Joe did put out some great solo hits as well as with the James Gang. In addition, he is probably the first to record a song that tells the highs and lows of being a rock star. I say maybe give this guy a shot at a solo induction, but give some well-deserving individuals a chance as well.

Saw him perform the other night in concert! It was an awesome show and as expected, he rocked the house while everyone chilled. Played all of his signature songs, including those with James Gang. Also as expected, he performed 'Take It To The Limit' in memory of his brother/bandmate Glenn Frey. It was probably the closest to the Eagles I'll ever get to see, unless Don Henley comes around my city.

I'm still borderline on whether he should get in as a solo act. I wouldn't be disappointed if he got a special side award like Ringo Starr did. Joe Walsh is a true rock icon, and is widely respected by several.

Here are some songs besides "Life's Been Good" that talk about the ups and mostly downs about being famous:
"Rock/Rap Superstar"-Cypress Hill
"Teenage Idol"-Rick Nelson
"Celebrity"-Brad Paisley

I'm sure there's more, just can't think of any at the top of my head for now

I strongly believe that Joe Walsh should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as an INDIVIDUAL SOLO artist. I created an online petition a few weeks ago just for that. Joe has and continues to be a huge influence on artists within the music industry and has done so much for others outside of the music industry. If anyone here, feels the same, I am asking you to please help me by clicking on the link below and signing this petition. Also, please help me by sharing and getting this around. It would mean so much! https://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/966/036/840/

Joe and Dan Auerbaach have a lot in common. Neither will ever get in!

Joe Walsh might take the "classic rock solo artist" slot after Warren Zevon gets inducted ?
