So prolific, so unique, and always evocative. Posted by George on Sunday, 05/10/2020 @ 10:00am |
I love Joan Armatrading. That mix of folk/soul she played, is something many have drawn influence from since. Love & Affection is one of the purest vocals of the '70s. Having said that, realistically she'll probably never even be nominated for the RRHOF. Posted by StunningStocktaker on Saturday, 09/18/2021 @ 14:48pm |

Joan is one of the finest singer songwriters this world has to offer. The RRHOF is an old white boys club. They totally don't get it. Posted by Debra Simons on Tuesday, 05/9/2023 @ 19:34pm |

She should definitely be inducted – hugely talented singer-songwriter; very good guitarist, too. (Heart says: "Yes – without question!") Posted by Phil Foster on Wednesday, 11/22/2023 @ 01:35am |
Joan Arbatrading is one of the finest female songwriters and guitarists of all times. She has received many awards in her home country of England and has a strong following in the US. She is absolutely amazing, was ahead of her time and continues to produce songs that speak to your soul from her words and music. Posted by Susan Ammon on Monday, 01/1/2024 @ 23:29pm |
