Jeff Healey deserves some kind of HOF recognition. Just a fantastic talent. I remember when Angel Eyes came out everybody was singing those Jeff Healey Band songs. Had a brilliant blues sound and great guitar playing. He became pop culture and iconic as Dalton's friend Cody in Road House. The question is the Innovation and Influence. Hope Jeff is playing guitar in heaven with Mr. Swayze close by. Probably will end up like Quicksilver Messenger Service as a quality singer and band that deserves a better fate. KING

Angel Eyes should be an essential song.

Yes, he did produce albums as just Jeff Healey. I guess that's what this page is for. You need a page for The Jeff Healey Band.

rock n roll hall of fame get your head out of your ass and induct this wonderful genius song writer and UNIQUE guitar playing musician !!! instead of inducting some bubblegum flavor of the month person or band.

Regards,

Let's start with the pursuit of equity and recognition for persons with disability and the extensive legislative framework to protect, encourage and support all such persons. Then consider Mr, Jeff Henley, an individual born long before such considerations and framework noted above. A person who committed to not only become an ambassador for the physically challenged, but a leader of individual pursuit in an industry which requires the highest of talents and requisites to generate personal and global success. Mr. Healey, not only met and on many occasions overcome such challenges, but did so with astonishing resourcefulness, while becoming a musician known globally, and with the recognition of numerous cohorts of his industry whom are of the biggest names and musician stars known. He overcome feats that most could only hope to, and generated a global following whom revere his music to this day. He was a pioneer in the rockabilly, jazzy blues and clearly the Rock and Roll genre that not only broke into the industry through personal tenacity, but backed by extraordinary talent and musicianship that had not gone passed by numerous musicians. When people comment of Mr. Healey, they speak of his uniqueness, albeit true, amply falls shorts of gifts unlike countless others in his industry. He was not only a recording artist, but an entertainer whom shared his onstage voice and attributes with thousands of people. All of this, and not to be reminded of his stewardship as a Canadian and certainly of humanity whom shared in like personal challenges. When I consider, the little that I know about Mr. Healey, yet those things that I do, it would seem to me that Mr. Jeff Healey would not only meet the prerequisites, but in all likelihood demonstrate to have reestablished many notable bars worthy of such honour for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I went to the Hall of Fame last week and it blew my mind that Jeff Healey hasn't been inducted into the hall of fame, Instead we get LL Cool J really the Beastie Boys , I'm just shocked at some of the artists who are not in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame … who picks these inducties anyways….

Complete travesty that the Jeff Healy band isn't in the R.R.H.O.F. Jeff was an amazing unique talent. Having seen most of the great guitar players touring from mid 70's to current, Jeff is definitely among the very best.

I can't believe Kiss is in the Rock & roll hall, but Jeff Healy isn't. Travesty

He should be in. He is better than at least 90% of the people in there now.

Jeff Healy was a one-hit wonder. His one hit was "Angel Eyes." I learned that from a VH-1 show that featured 100 songs by one-hit wonders. I learned from that show that he was blind and was from Canada.

Jeff Healey was one of the greatest and underestimated guitar players ever he should be recognized for his talent and for the disability that made his talent so great! There will never ever be anyone else like him he's one of a kind
