ok, how is not in as a early influence, one of the most important composers and lyricist of the 20th century, some of the people who have covered his songs include Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Elvis Presley and Billie Holiday, to say he's important to rock is a understatement and if you disagree, then you don't know music

Alexander's Ragtime Band (1911), God Bless America (1918) and Easter Parade (1933) are a few essential songs written by Irving Berlin.
