Are you kidding me? He has to get in. He's been very influential and is a talented individual in his respective genre.

With the stooges, yes. As a solo artist, not so much.

Agreed with Kit...looking at the amount of nomiantions the Stooges has gotten in the past years, it won't be long now before The Stooges are place in the hall for good.

With the Stooges? Yes. For his dull wannabe-Bowie solo career? No.

We have the Lou Reed scenario again here. An artist that had a few tracks in their solo career that stood up against their former band, but don't deserve inclusion on their own.

As a solo artist? What for. Induct the stooges and it is enough. I don't really see why inducting as solo artists people who are here with a group.
I only justify John Lennon(who has a great solo career) and Sam Cooke who enter as a solo before his group and has a better solo career

Never liked a single thing he did.
Not a single thing.

However, to say that he didn't have a signficant influence on this genre we call Rock n' Roll would be to deny the plain truth.

This guy MUST be inducted.

This guy has no talent whatsoever. He can't sing or write a decent song and the fact that he never wears a shirt is the worst gimmick I've ever seen.

I'll take it you don't know The Stooges, then.

Not personally.

No nice guy but still no

don't worry, he's already in with the Stooges (:

but it would be neat if he were to be inducted as a solo artist, that 77 stuff was the real deal

he's the godfather of punk after all

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
