I am very impressed. This gentleman is a phenomenal guitarist. I fully expect Gary to be inducted on the first ballot, when he is first eligible. Of course, any great band of the past, or present would be well served by his addition.

GCJ is a bright, new blues player, but there are 3 dozen guys way, way up the line from Clark. Starting with Dick Dale, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Mike Bloomfield.

Gary Clark Jr. is an incredible musician and a real rock artist, however, his appeal to the general audience is only equivalent to 2.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Not a bad amount, but not enough popularity to get into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. I do think he should get in though.
