Are Interpol a poor man's Editors, or are Editors a poor man's Interpol?

Doesn't matter, since they're both a poor man's Franz Ferdinand, and that poor man can't danc at all.

Franz are easily the most interesting Post-Punk revival band, unless you count the Arcade Fire, in which case they are joint top

Franz Ferdinand are a band that are taking indy music to a new height, and are developing new styles and beats songs taht will continue to influence bands for the next million years, cuz if they dont then the world has become a BFMV rap/ hip-hop loving freakshow, which it almost is already

At this moment in time, they're a pretty good argument for XTC's induction. I'm hoping they'll get at least three absolutely knock-out albums before 2020.

They have a platinum album and two top 20 albums. Plus 4 Hot 100 singles. They are doing well in the USA. I can see them getting in.

They're a good band. I don't think they're Hall of Fame worthy right now, but they could become worthy. Regaining some of the Stateside success they got with "Take Me Out" is absolutely key to their chances.

Long time away, but judging from their stateside success, I see them going in if they continue it and make strong albums in the years to come

If they release another album like their first two, that would essentially seal the deal in my eyes, I hope they do.

As of right now I'm not sure though, we'll see.

They are one of the best new bands out there. Very impressive work, so far.

On the way to the Hall (so far).

I finally saw this wonderful band up at Mercury Ballroom in Louisville. They played to a raucous crowd of about 300. Band played a good selection of hits & some of their most recent material. Lead singer was having a great time up there. He never stops moving. Had a time trying to get some good pics of him. I was on the rail, in front of the bassist. He's the only member of band who has no vocal duties. When I moved from that spot to look at merch, I gave my spot to this young lady & I got a look like I've rarely received in life (ha, ha).

Watched the encore from the disabled pit, beside the lead singer/bassist of excellent opening act Omni. He said this was the first night of a new setlist for band. Performed 4 songs in encore. Crowd did not want them to leave.

One of the top 3 sets I've ever sen at that venue. These guys need another great album to make their case for The Hall. I expect them to do that. Definite candidates for our Projected Hall. If you haven't seen them, you sure need to.

Thanks for the recommendation, Paul! I did like Franz Ferdinand back in the day and I enjoy listening to their few hits they had. I can picture the lead singer being very active and energetic on stage. I'm sure to make them on my bucket list. Hopefully they'll turn out at a festival in the future or in my neck of the woods.

Security Question:

Which letter is Springsteen's band named after?
