Great band. I can see why people see the connection with Interpol, especially in the early days, but to be honest their later work is different and stands out on its own. Great live band too.

Required listening:

"Munich" (2005) from The Back Room
"Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors" (2007) from An End Has a Start
"The Weight of the World" (2007) from An End Has a Start
"The Racing Rats" (2007) from An End Has a Start
"Papillon" (2009) from In This Light and on This Evening
"Sugar" (2013) from The Weight of Your Love
"Formaldehyde" (2013) from The Weight of Your Love
"Ocean of Night" (2015) from In Dream
"Forgiveness" (2015) from In Dream
"All the Kings" (2015) from In Dream
"No Sound But the Wind" (2018) from Violence
"Counting Spooks" (2018) from Violence

Frontman Tom Smith has a great Christmas album out, Funny Looking Angels (2011) which he released with Andy Burrows. That album has several great tracks and worth checking out: "When the Thames Froze," "Funny Looking Angels," the instrumental "Rosslyn," and "This Ain't New Jersey." "The Christmas Song" with Agnes Obel is also a nice Christmas tune.
