I like this band...but they haven't really been influential yet. They're moving from nu-metal over to heavy metal, so we'll see how it goes in the upcoming decades.

hey they should get in there awesome

They are one of the better modern metal bands, but they just haven't been very influential yet. We'll just have to wait and see. These guys are great for a modern band, but we need to wait and see if they become truly influential and amazing in the coming years.

There is more metal in my shoelaces than in Disturbed. There is more iron in my bloodstream than metal in this band. They suck.

some of my friends told me about this band and i checked them out. they sucked, there was only a few songs that were good. the rest just consisted of them yelling (not in a good way). besides them don't have a major impact

i actually like Disturbed. There are many songs by them that i hate, but that true with even my most loved bands.

Disturbed is my favorite band and they kick ass

I'm willing to give them time to become innovative and influential, but I don't like them and currently they're not worthy at all. They barely qualify as metal, and they're boring. Metal for 12 year olds.

ur all retards. disturbed is awsome. they have their flaws , but they still rule. they dont just randomly scream like these "christian" bands do. nu meatal is the best

No band is perfect and I personally think that Disturbed is awesome \m/

Very little of the nu-metal I've heard is that good, and why should Disturbed get in? Even if they have any influence by then, everything they've done was already done better.

I don't undersrtand any of you people this is like saying system of a down shouldn't be in the hall they're both amazing and need recognition every one of each of there. Songs is good

Disturbed is the future of metal. There is no way around it. Ozzy said it himself. All of their songs have a serious message. We are talking about modern metal here mind you. Most modern metal bands focus on one very narrow or very broad topic and its hard for most to relate. Disturbed is absolutely the opposite... and saying they have no influence shows me that you dont pay attention to music.
Posted by Brandon on Saturday, 06.12.10 @ 08:52am
I'm paying attention, sir. My respect for Ozzy doesn't mean everything he says is true. I like to think I'm fairly in tune with the metal world, and there's nobody I've heard who came after Disturbed that sounds like them, so no, at best a minor influence. There are plenty of metal bands with something to say, you just have to look for them.

U guys all suck. Disturbed is without a doubt one of my favorite bands. They are not as far along in their careers as any of the bands currently in the hof which is the only reason theyve not been inducted yet. Almost every one of their songs has a strong meaning and great lyrics and tunes.
Posted by heavykmeta on Monday, 09.20.10 @ 20:05pm
Dude there 14 years into their career something tells me that theyre not going to be getting into the hall of fame if they havent gotten there yet. if they havent been a great an influence ny now then theres no chance. face it they just suck as bad as Justin Beiber.

FYI everyone, the artist/band has to have had 25 years since the release of their first album before they even qualify to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Disturbed's only going on year 11. So, they've got plenty of time to prove themselves and show how influential they can be. I'm a huge fan, and am very confident they could land a spot in the hall one of these days. If it was possible for some of the others that have made if in (there are some good ones, but questionable ones as well), it's certainly possible for Disturbed.

Disturbed is my favorite band hands down. They consistently put out good albums. But as for influence on rock n roll...idk. Personally the only branch of rock n roll i like is metal and even then i only like a few sub branches of metal...so them making hall of fame isnt too important.

Disturbed will make it. They release albums every couple years. Some of the bands in the rock and roll hall of fame only have 2-3 albums.

Disturbed is an amazing band with great vocals and awesome music. They play and support our troops who defend our great nation. Any of you pansy bitches who think they shouldn't be inducted into the hall of fame are undiagnosed with mental retardation.

I think Disturbed deserves to be in the hall of fame. Their songs are getting a lot better, if you listen to their new album "Immortalized" then you would see that they DESERVE a shot. Their latest album I can't seem to get out of my head especially "The Vengeful One".

Saw this band a couple weeks ago at Louder than Life in Louisville. They closed down the #2 stage & played before Slipknot.
