Important session players who formed a successful, highly original band playing instrumental blues and soul tunes. The rhythm section of Donald "Duck" Dunn and Al Jackson Jr. is one of the tightest you'll ever hear, and of course the smooth guitar and organ sounds of Steve Cropper and Booker T. Jones respectively, are the cherry on top.
