So they are influential. But not innovative

If Madonna, Abba etc got in, then so should backstreet boys, best selling and most influential boy band ever, Idc what you "rockers" think, I'm a rock lover myself (my favorite band is the velvet underground) and I love the backstreet boys, you can like all genres!

Hell yeah the backstreet boys deserve to be in the Hall of Fame they are amazing. On that note new kids on the block should be reconsidered because they have been around for 36 years and next to the backstreet boys have one of the hugest fan bases. I've listened to NKOTB since I was 5 and BSB since I was 12. NKOTB and BSB both have 2nd and 3rd generations listening to their music and loving their music all over again. Both bands also treat us like family. Throughput the pandemic NKOTB have done live streams zooms put new music out and BSB have been using social media as well to keep everyone's spirits up and it's worked. I don't see any other bands checking in on their families like NKOTB and BSB do. So please reconsider NKOTB and BSB needs to be considered period.

I believe that they do deserve to be in the HoF as the best boyband of all times. Even when they don't do it now, they used to play their instruments, they have a record in which most songs were composed by them, needless to say that they DO SING. And by the way, there are lots of singers/performers included in the Hall of Fame that never played rock and roll music, for instance, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Madonna, etc. So please don't get too upset, cause they deserve to be there just as any other band/singer who meets the requirements.

I can't say they deserve to be in, but they will soon be in. Some people say they aren't rock which is true, but they have stated if they only induct rockers, they will soon run out of people to induct, so there's a very likely chance they will. Also, I WANT IT THAT WAY (no i dont)

As much as I hate to admit it, the Backstreet Boys probably will be in the Hall of Fame one day, knowing the Hall of Fame. I really don't want to admit it, but i could actually see it happening one day...

Many dont want them to be inducted but admit they probably will, I wonder why they say that lol. If you asked me 20 years ago I would say no but man but their still together making music and selling out shows. It will happen sooner later.

^As much as I hate to admit it, they are the most commercially successful boy band ever, that paved the way for acts like Nsync, One Direction and Justin Bieber. They were influential, just not on anything I listen to.

I hate to admit it, but if the Hall was to induct a boy band, it would probably be the Backstreet Boys. I mean, they had a #1 album 3 years ago, and even got a Grammy nomination. That's 20 years after their peak, but they are still releasing new music and selling out stadiums. That's longevity most boy bands don't have.

The fear in everyones comments that a pop act gets inducted is hilarious and dated. If the hall has to do with influence and success than acts like Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Britney Spears, Spice Girls are all more than worthy. Just accept it and stop acting like an old white man
