Shouldn't this entry be Nino Tempo & April Stevens?

A brother/sister singing duo that I believe fell victim to the British Invasion, since their big #1 hit "Deep Purple" (great song, btw) and its soundalike follow-up "Whispering" both came out in 1963. And yes, "Deep Purple" was obviously the inspiration for the heavy RRHOF band...apparently the grandmother of one of the band's member was a fan of Tempo/Stevens' song.

Both are still alive; not sure if they are still performing though (Stevens is 90). Unfortunately, they're just a short blip on the pop culture timeline.
