I'll remember Andy Williams for his Christmas songs, "Can't Get Used to Losing You", my all-time favorite songs by him, and "Moon River" plus hosting the most Grammy Awards telecasts from 1971-1977, but he never actually won one, I sense yet another posthumous award in our future, rest in peace! :'-(

It should be remembered that Andy Williams is also known for his version of the theme to the movie Love Story.

Along with several other artist such as Johnny Cash, Sonny & Cher, Bobby Vinton, The First Edition, Tom Jones and Jim Stafford, Andy Williams had a variety show. Often they would have other artist as guests. I feel that this is a form of influence. Even if these guest artist were not rock and roll artist they still exposed the public to a variety of genres that could be an influence.
